Further Education

NTBI is the first phase of training with New Tribes Mission. Many NTBI graduates go on to the Missionary Training Center, and become members of New Tribes Mission. The one-and-a-half year course there, combined with your studies at New Tribes Bible Institute, equips you to join the team taking the Gospel to tribes who have yet to hear.

However, you may want to receive training in other areas before beginning service with New Tribes Mission. Or you may believe God is leading you to other ways of serving Him. In that case, NTBI can be a good start on a degree.

Although NTBI is not accredited, a number of Christian colleges and universities accept NTBI credits. The following schools have agreed to accept NTBI credits through an Articulation/Credit Transfer Agreement:
